I just rewatched it and was surprised to see it had a PG rating. I know the MPAA works in mysterious ways but Beetlejuice features depictions of suicide, a decapitated head and Michael Keaton even drops an F-bomb. It’s all done in humor but it clearly seems to be PG13 territory.
