- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and chopped.
- 1 or 1.5 cups green peas, fresh or frozen.
- 2 small bay leaf or 1 large bay leaf (tej patta)
- 1 or 2 green chilies, slit.
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds.
- ¼ cup chopped onion.
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder (ground turmeric)
